Sunday morning, Ty paused at the mirror to examine the cut on his head. Thankfully the tape had survived a proper shower and hair wash and the cut had not re-opened. No way could he have gone another twenty-four hours without grooming.

The bruise though was really starting to bloom. An example of modern art in greens, greys and yellows, thanks to his boyfriend attracting the attention of crazy stalker land-lady. Oh and some purple. Nice. Real nice.

From one angle it looked like a butterfly, from another it could almost be Lebron James slamming in a dunk.

Tony had told him that it made him look dangerous and rugged and Ty had quipped back that people would think Tony had done it. Swiftly having to reassure Tony when he looked horrified and had become upset.

“Sorry,” Ty had murmured as he kissed Tony’s nose, forehead, cheeks, and finally mouth. “I was kidding. Bad joke. No one would ever think that.”

Ty’s next joke that obviously Ty, being bigger and stronger could defend himself from Tony any day, had resulted in a major tickle fight during which they had both nearly laughed up a lung.

Ty had won though, because he knew Tony had many more sensitive places, and Ty wasn’t scared to get down and dirty. Hello — tickly balls much!

Distracted and chuckling at the memory of Tony squirming under him and pleading for mercy, Ty left the room and walked slap into a chest.

As strong arms gripped and pulled him in, Ty realized in a moment it wasn’t Tony, not carved enough. And although the body was firm and fit, it wasn’t tall enough to be Frank.

He blinked and focused, seeing Tony stood in the centre of the room, smiling at him with his arm slung around his Mom’s shoulder and both her arms tight around his waist.

Ah, so it must be Tony’s dad who had him in a bear hug.

He squeezed back and was released. Tony’s dad, Dan, moving to cup his face and study him closely. His eyes were intense and serious, and Ty felt, as he always did, a little shock at seeing Tony’s eyes in the older man’s face.

A warmth spread in his chest at the obvious concern in the familiar hazel and he smiled, rubbing Dan’s arm, “Hey Dan, I’m okay. Don’t look so worried.”

Dan nodded, almost satisfied, “Yea? You gave us a scare kid.”

“I promise. I’ve barely even got a headache,” Ty reassured him. Startling slightly as Frank appeared as if by magic by his side, like the world’s most glamorous fairy godmother. Glass of water and painkillers at the ready.

“Did I hear headache?” he flashed a grin at Ty. The one that said, ‘don’t test me.’

Ty didn’t even bother arguing. He just sighed and took the painkillers.

Nodding with satisfaction Frank took the glass back into the kitchen, talking over his shoulder, “We were just talking about you going down to Florida with Dan and Gabriella to see your grandparents.”

“What?” Ty asked, confused.

“Gabi and I are going on a cruise,” Dan explained. “And we’re staying with your grandparents for a couple of nights before we sail.”

“Really?” Ty was delighted. “I didn’t know you guys were in touch.”

“Well really,” Tony’s Mom laughed. “How can we gossip about the two of you if we’re not in touch?”

“Your grandma is worried about you,” Dan said. “She was all for coming up here, but we said we would check on you.”

“You should go see her,” Frank said. “You’ll have this sweet couple to keep an eye on you.” He gave Tony’s mom a kiss on the cheek and completely missed Ty’s shoulders tensing and the rebellious look on his face.

Cal, Tony, and Dan didn’t miss it though, and rolled their eyes at each other.

“More to the point,” Dan said, before Ty could start arguing. “We can make use of a big strapping lad like you to help us out, and you know, I don’t like flying that much. It would be a help to us.”

Amusement overrode Ty’s annoyance, and he gave Tony’s dad a dry look, “Are you playing me, Sir?”

Dan tipped his head to one side and smiled, “Is it working?”

Ty grinned and raised his hands in defeat.

“Just a couple of nights, Ty,” Frank said kissing his cheek. “Reassure your grandma.”

“Okay,” Ty agreed.

Frank flashed him a triumphant smile and then turned to give Tony’s dad the same kiss, “Bye, Handsome Dad, I’ll see you later.”

Dan just laughed and patted his back.

Gabriella got a big hug and then Frank kissed Tony, “Bye, Handsome.”

“See you later, Frank. Bye Cal.”

Cal merely waved at them all and followed Frank out of the door.

Ty eyed Dan a little warily, “Er, Frank is really affectionate with everyone. I hope he didn’t make you uncomfortable.”

“Are you kidding?” Dan grinned. “Best nickname ever!”

Gabi laughing, moved forward and Ty found himself in another embrace. Despite being approximately half his size (he had no idea how she had brought forth three children, all of whom were pushing 6ft. He shuddered to think of it), she had the ability to enclose him in a hug that made him feel totally loved and protected.

She also was aware that her hugs made him overly emotional and he needed just an extra moment to compose himself. Gabriella Thomas was one of his favourite people and he was completely in love with her.

Over her shoulder he spotted Tony turned slightly away but still watching them. Tony was smiling but also rubbing the end of his nose really hard, which meant he was trying not to cry.

When Ty lowered her down from tippy toes, she reached up and pulled his head down. Touching her lips gently to his bruise. “Better?” she asked.

“Much,” he managed, feeling a little choked up himself.

“I’m so glad you’re both okay,” she said in her gentle voice. “Are you up to coming out for lunch?”

“Sure, that sounds great.”

“We’ll drop your cases off on the way,” Tony said, then looked at Ty. “Mom and Dad are going to stay at ours for a couple of nights. Apparently I have to stay here until you get back!”

“Frank being bossy?” Ty asked.

“Always. But it was Cal actually, he insisted.”

“It’s good,” Dan said, “I’m glad you have someone to watch your back. Especially with the Thomas curse of attracting the ladies!” he teased Tony.

“Yea, yea!”

“Crazy ladies!” Ty agreed, playing along. Tony stuck his tongue out at him.

“If your head’s okay, Ty. We’ve got some tickets for the garden tonight. A friend of mine passed them on, but it might get rowdy.”

Ty hadn’t been to Madison Square Gardens in ages. As a student he didn’t have the money, and now he had the money (just about) he didn’t have the time. But he knew about the game tonight and shot an evil grin at Tony’s dad.

“Daniel. It would be my absolute pleasure to come and watch the Flyers get trounced!”

Dan stopped dead and turned to Ty a look of shock on his face.

“I’ll bring tissues,” Ty continued, rocking back on his heels with a grin. He knew that Dan was an avid supporter of the Philadelphia Flyers, but he had always supported the Rangers, with the knowledge that New York was his true home.

“Tony,” Dan half whispered, his eyes still wide on Ty, his voice awed. “You didn’t tell me your boyfriend knows hockey.”

“That’s because it’s boring and I didn’t want to listen to the two of you trash talking each other’s teams,” Tony informed him bluntly.

Dan narrowed his eyes at Ty, “What makes you so confident, we’re getting good stats this season?”

“Yea, but we’ve got Haaning,” Ty said simply.

Dan slow-walked over to him his chest puffed out, making Ty laugh. Then he slung an arm around Ty’s shoulders. “I always wanted a son who appreciated hockey,” he said, his voice wobbling with fake tears. “I might have to adopt you.”

“Only if you admit that the Rangers rule,” Ty said seriously and laughed again when Dan groaned and shoved him away.

“Betrayed,” he cried out in horror. “Betrayed by my almost adopted son.”

Gabi laughed and Tony just shook his head. “You can see where I get my acting talent,” he joked.

They had a good day. Ty liked Tony’s parents. Hell, truth be told he had fallen nearly as hard for them as he had for Tony. He didn’t know Tony’s two sisters very well, but they had welcomed him without reservations, and Dan just cracked him up.

He was touched that they had hustled to New York to check that he and Tony were okay and knew that they were just as concerned for him as they were for their son.

However, no matter how good the day had been. It didn’t soften the blow of his beloved New York Rangers getting thoroughly whipped by their rivals on their home ice.

He sat in the seat, his head in his hands as Tony rubbed his back in sympathy and Dan bounced, clapped, and cheered in the seat next to him.

“What the hell just happened?” he asked the world in general.

“You’re not having the best weekend are you, Babe?” Tony said gently.

“Fucking Bullies!”

He couldn’t stay mad in the face of Dan’s delight, and they rehashed the game over a slice.

“Lunch out and pizza,” Tony complained. “I’m not going to fit in my costume come Tuesday.”

Ty was flagging by the time they got back to Frank and Cal’s place.

Tony insisted on getting water, getting painkillers, plumping the pillows.

In the end Ty just took his wrist and held him still. “Tony, I’m okay.”

Tony eyes flickered to the bruise and the dark circles under Ty’s eyes. “You’re exhausted.”

Ty winced, but nodded. “Sure, I am. Maybe taking in a hockey match wasn’t the best call, my head is reminding me it got clonked, but it distracted us both and sweetheart, no one here is going to cause us any harm,” he said gently.

“I wish I could come to Florida with you,” Tony admitted, looking a little lost.

“Three nights, and I’ll be fine by the time I get back.” He grinned, “Plus I’ve got Gabi and Dan to take care of me.”

Tony smiled, “And they will. Then your granny will smother you in love.” His mood lifting he turned a little. “You’ve got to work tomorrow?”

Ty nodded, “Early meeting with Tim, he’s fine that you can’t make it, and then into Enchantment to meet the Vegas manager. But I won’t be late. Frank’ll have my ass if I do too much.”

“Okay, so now you need to rest,” Tony smiled again as it was clear Ty was only still awake to reassure him. “Lie down, I’ll be two minutes.”

Less than two minutes later he was pulling a mostly asleep Ty close.

“Tonmmuuhh” Ty slurred and Tony kissed his hair. “Sleep,” he instructed quietly and closed his eyes. Happy with Ty safe in his arms.

-X

Ty hadn’t taken well to Milo, the manager from Vegas. Something about the guy that he just couldn’t put his finger on was making him uncomfortable.

Or maybe it was just that Milo seemed uncomfortable with him.

He had been stuck on a call and came back into the bar to find Milo already in the club with Fred, who was the dance captain of Engagement New York and had worked for Frank and Cal for over five years.

Milo’s attitude was very standoffish and when Ty had lifted his brows in question, at the unenthusiastic response to his introducing himself, Fred had simply rolled his eyes.

When Milo took a quick call himself, Fred swung his jacket on, moving discreetly closer to Ty and keeping his voice low.

“What’s his problem?” Ty mumbled.

“He was okay at first. I was showing him our latest scan photo and he asked about our surrogate. When I told him I was straight and married to a gasp…woman, he just went cold. If you ask me, he doesn’t think I should be working here.”

“You don’t have to be gay to be a drag artist. There’s no law that I’m aware of.”

“I’m not a drag artist,” Fred pointed out.

“Shame,” Ty dragged his eyes up Fred’s body, making him chuckle. “You’ve got fantastic legs. And you’re missing the point.”

“Be nice,” Fred advised him. “You’ve gotta work with him in Vegas. Whatever his problem, it’s not your problem.”

“Maybe he’s not happy that Cal and Frank brought in a new choreographer?” Ty mused.

“Nah, neither of us wanted that job. We’d already had that discussion.”

Shrugging, Ty changed the subject, “All okay with the scan?”

“Yea. Look.” Fred pulled out a small image and Ty made a kissing face and cooed “Awwww, look at that,” in baby voice, before continuing in the same tone, “I can’t see a fucking thing.”

Fred cracked up. “I know. Alien-mutant-frog-being. But cute, right?”

“Super cute, Fred. And look. It has your legs!” he pointed at a random wiggly bit.

Laughing, Fred tucked the image away and with a quick wave disappeared.

Milo ended his call and they settled at the bar with coffee, hashing out some plans for mixing up the old routines and adding in new ones.

He may have been a cold fish, but Milo knew his dancers, and Ty was able to get a good idea of who was available and who would fit for various routines.

He was taken aback when Milo’s carefully blank face suddenly lit up in shock, staring over Ty’s shoulder, “Oh my God!”

“What’s wrong?” Ty asked, seeing the wide eyes and wondering why Milo was batting at his arm. He looked over his shoulder and only saw Tony walking towards him.

“It’s Anthony Thomas-Risio,” Milo managed in a wonderous whisper.

Ty pressed his lips together to prevent the smirk. This was going to be interesting.

Tony walked towards them, giving Ty a ‘look’ but then turning a mega watt smile on Milo. “Hey, are you the Las Vegas guy?”

Milo slid off the stool. “Milo. Milo Canter. It’s such an honour to meet you Mr Thomas-Risio,” he gripped Tony’s hands in both of his and just stood.

Tony glanced briefly at Ty. Reading the underlying caution (Tony was still shaken by the events of the past few days), Ty winked and smiled a little. No, this wasn’t another potential stalker, just a fan.

Reassured, Tony smiled again, completed the hand shake and stepped back, “Please. It’s Tony. Tony Thomas.”

“Tony,” Milo repeated, looking like such a thing shouldn’t be possible.

Ty laughed to himself. Tony’s smile looked so bewildered. He decided to put him and Milo out of his misery. “So why are you glaring at me?” he asked.

Tony poked Ty’s chest and fake pouted. “You didn’t kiss me goodbye this morning,” he complained.

“Yea, well. You were dead to the world and just went,” Ty screwed up his face. “Fukughdonkleep!”

“Shut up,” Tony laughed. “I did not.”

“Such a grump,” Ty teased, ignoring the fact that Milo’s head was swinging from one to the other of them like he was watching a tennis match. Tony politely ignored it too.

“Kiss me now,” he demanded, and Ty complied. Keeping it reasonably decent, just in case Milo decided to pass out in shock.

Milo was artless enough to blurt out, “You’re together?”

“I know what you’re thinking,” Tony said, striking a puffed-up pose. “What is a major Broadway star like me doing with a wanna be chorographer (basically overpaid swing) like him?”

“Oommpffhhh!” Ty made a noise like he had been punched in the stomach.

Ignoring him Tony continued, “I’ll let you into a secret, Milo. This is why.” He motioned Milo closer and stage whispered, “Ty is really, really good in the,” dramatic pause. “Kitchen.”

Milo laughed, “A man of many talents,” he grinned. Then jumped and blushed when his phone rang. “Um, I’m so sorry, please will you excuse me a moment, Mr Thom, I mean T-Tony. Er Ty, sorry one second.” Completely flustered he fumbled out his phone and stepped away.

“He seems nice,” Tony said, turning to Ty with an innocent smile.

“You would say that, as he’s gushing all over you.”

Tony stepped closer and ran a hand down Ty’s torso, his eyes following. “I would rather you were gushing all over me,” he looked up through his lashes.

Ty swore as he hardened instantly at Tony’s filthy innuendo, “Stop being a brat.”

Tony laughed.

“You’re just over excited because you have a fan,” Ty said quietly as Milo ended his call.

“Don’t say it like there’s only one,” Tony frowned at Ty’s grin. “And he calls me a brat,” he muttered.

Smiling to include Milo back in the conversation he asked, “How did you get on with the Bares team this morning. Our routine?”

“It’s pure filth. Really, it’s going to be one of the dirtiest dances they’ve ever done.”

“Cool,” Tony grinned.

“Get the timing just a little bit out of sync and there might be an accidental penetration,” Ty continued and both Tony and Milo doubled up laughing.

“Can’t wait,” Tony said, but the grin fell from his face when Ty told him.

“You’re doing it. I’m not.”

“What?”

Tony’s eyes were full of hurt bewilderment and Ty grabbed his hand, pressing it to his chest and rubbing in comfort, “Tony!”

“Why don’t you want to dance with me?”

“Oh, Hush,” Ty kissed Tony’s palm and then pressed the hand back to his heart. “I do, always. Of course I do, but honestly. This dance is so dirty, with everyone knowing we’re together, we may as well just film ourselves having sex and post it on Pornhub.”

Milo snickered and Tony smiled a little, “Really? That bad?”

“Yes. I said you would do it and I had a good person to dance it with you, they’ve already roped me into to rehearsing you, so we will practice it together. I asked them for something more light-hearted for me.”

“Like what?”

“I don’t know but Tim had some sort of idea come to him, he kinda did this.” Ty struck a pose that so clearly demonstrated someone having a light-bulb moment that both Tony and Milo cracked up again.

“So who am I dancing with?” Tony asked.

“Fred,” Ty said, sort of waving his hand at the door. “He was here earlier. He’s up for it.”

The last line was delivered tongue in cheek and Tony rolled his eyes at Milo, “He thinks he’s cute!”

Milo looked confused, “But Fred, he’s, well he’s,” he trailed off looking uncomfortable.

Ty decided to throw him a rope, “About to become a Dad? Yea, sure, but it will be at least a month after the baby arrives, and he’s almost exactly the same height and build as me. I can rehearse then separately and bring it together.”

“I like doing ‘Bares’ stuff with straight dancers,” Tony said guilelessly. “Makes it more inclusive ya know and it’s surprising how many people from our community can be a bit weirded out around straight people.”

Ty had literally no idea if Tony had picked up on Milo’s attitude or not. He didn’t see how, but Tony could always read him easily, so maybe that was how. “Usually due to bad experiences,” he said.

“Yea, so it’s a positive thing,” was Tony’s opinion.

“Also,” Ty continued before they accidently backed Milo into a corner. “Tim texted earlier and said he had an idea for you and me next year. In his words,” Ty looked at his phone. “Sexy and fun, but can Tony tap?”

“Can Tony tap?” Tony repeated in a dangerous voice. Milo looked at him, eyes wide. Altered by the dark tone.

“Can. Tony. Tap?” he repeated, biting off each word.

Ty smirked and winked at Milo, “I told him how it is, Baby.”

Tony just glared so Ty looked at his phone again and pretended to read, “A bit, but it’s okay I can coach him,” laughing when Tony grabbed the phone.

“Tony is awesome on the taps, faster than me and can go for hours! Jesus, do you have to make everything sound filthy?” Tony complained, jokingly slamming the phone against Ty’s chest like he was mad.

“Natural talent, my love!”

Milo was grinning now, “You guys,” he said, motioning between them.

Ty just grinned. At least the guy was warming up to him now.

“So you know who I am,” Tony stated. “You’ve seen the show?”

“Unfortunately, no,” Milo told them, looking disappointed. “Kevin, my husband, and me tried the lottery yesterday, but no luck. He’s going try the ticket booth again tomorrow, but that’s a long shot.” He shrugged, “I’ve seen promo slots and interviews though. It looks fantastic.”

“When do you leave town?”

“Thursday.”

“Okay, hold on,” Tony moved away to make a call and Milo looked at Ty.

“Is he getting tickets?”

“If you’re lucky,” Ty winked.

Milo looked a little uncomfortable, but then, “I’m looking forward to working with you on the Vegas shows. I think it will be good.”

“Me too,” Ty said. It was an olive branch and probably as close to an apology as Ty was going to get.

Tony bounced over, “Can you do the matinee tomorrow?”

Milo’s face, with had been filled with hope, fell. “That would be great, but I’ve got a meeting and dinner with Frank and Cal.”

“Do the meeting in the morning, or tonight. Then the show, then dinner. They won’t mind,” Ty was already texting.

“Oh, I couldn’t possibly.”

Tony confirmed the tickets to whoever was on the phone.

“Thanks, Sue,” he ended the call and looked at Milo. “If you can’t go we’ll send someone with Kevin. At least he won’t miss out.”

“Well. Goodness, thanks so much. That’s amazing. Can I transfer you some money?”

“Donate. We’re cool.”

“Frank says 10am in the morning, then you can make the show and meet up after for dinner,” Ty interrupted.

Milo flushed with pleasure. “Really? Oh my. Thanks guys that’s brilliant. Thank you so much, hold on.” He moved aside to text, probably Kevin, or Frank.

“He’s so sweet,” Tony said.

“You’re such a flirt,” Ty retorted in the same sing song voice.

“Why are you pissed at him?”

Ty sighed, then jerked as Milo came back, his expression saying ‘later’.

“Kevin’s thrilled. He asked if you would like to join us for coffee, or lunch?”

Ty and Tony shared a glance. “Coffee would be good,” Tony said. “Then I have to get Ty back upstairs to rest.”

“Oh okay. Your head?” he asked.

“How about ‘Shell City’ around the corner,” Ty suggested, just nodding in answer to Milo’s question. “It’s always quiet, but the coffee is great.”

Milo texted the address to his husband, at the same time asking, “So why is it always quiet?”

They both snorted, “You’ll see.”

-X

Milo, Ty and Tony had all cracked up when Milo’s husband, Kevin, approached the table. His eyes had been round with shock and it wasn’t because he was meeting with ‘Anthony Thomas-Risio’ for coffee!

He had sat on a shell chair, at the shell covered table and gazed at the swirling shell wallpaper.

“You just have to ignore it,” Tony had advised, introducing himself.

“Jesus Christ!”

But the coffee was good and the ice had been well and truly broken. Kevin was clearly less tight laced and conservative than Milo and it made for a better balance.

He had been interested to hear of their upcoming ‘Bares’ commitments, and insisted on making a large donation to ‘Broadway Cares’ as a thank you for the tickets, which delighted Tony.

“You’re welcome. I’m looking forward to it. Might have to fly in to see the show in June as well.” Kevin had grinned at his husband and then added, “Of course if Milo wasn’t star struck he would have roped you into a guest spot at the club by now.”

Tony had laughed, but Ty, Milo and Kevin had just stared at him. The laugh had died in his throat, “What?”

“You’d steal him from under Cal’s nose?” Ty asked Milo.

“Damn straight. Have Cal and Frank not asked yet?”

“No, but it’s an interesting idea,” Ty mused.

“We could time it on one of your trips.”

Tony reached out and grabbed Milo and Ty’s arms. “Wait, are you serious. Me do a guest spot at Engagement Las Vegas?”

“The format’s only around thirty minutes. Usually three songs and a bit of banter. Are you interested?”

“Yes,” Ty answered for him.

“I’m not a star,” Tony argued. “Not really. It’s just that the show has gotten a lot of publicity. Good reviews. Isabel. Randall. They’re stars, not me.”

“Tony.” It was the first time Milo had used Tony’s name with confidence. The capable manager was coming back. “Would you be interested in doing at guest spot in Vegas? In around three or four months, we’ll time it with one of Ty’s trips.”

Ty just sat nodding and grinning. Kevin was laughing quietly.

Tony looked at Ty, his eyes wide and vulnerable. Ty just returned his gaze steadily.

“Yes. Shit, but yes.”

-X

Ty was laughing at a message from Cal that night when Tony came out of the bathroom.

“What’s up?” Tony leaned down and grinned at the thread in which Ty’s notification of Milo and Tony’s agreement had resulted in Cal’s response of, ‘Godammit. Get me Isabel Tells.’ Accompanied by a picture of Cal glaring out of the screen.

Tony grinned and sat on the bed, “Will Izzi do it for you?”

“Sure. In fact she’s got a project which maybe would make a good slot. I’ll have a think.”

“What project?”

Ty just mimed zipping his lips, “You’ll have to ask her.”

“That’s mean,” Tony complained and softly whacked Ty on the head with a cushion. “So Milo thought you were straight, huh?” he continued, pulling the cushion back and hugging it.

Ty blinked, surprised. “You figured that out, how?”

“The look of shock and misery on his face when you kissed me,” Tony told him.

“Eh,” Ty grunted, moving back on the bed as Tony pulled the covers back. “He didn’t approve of Fred. Or didn’t approve of him working at the club anyway.”

“What does he do in Vegas? Interrogate everyone to make sure they pass the LGBTQ+ test?”

Ty smirked and shook his head. “No, I don’t think he’s actually that bad. I suspect he just put his foot in it and then worked himself up a bit.”

Ty smiled and hummed as Tony lowered himself full length on top of him. “Embarrassed himself I guess. Hmmmm. Well hello there,” he linked his arms behind Tony’s waist and pulled him closer as Tony’s mouth got busy on his neck.

“Hey, Babe.” Tony lowered his head and sucked hard on Ty’s collarbone.

“Jesus. Don’t give me a hicky!”

“Why not. You’re not working for a few days.”

“Uh,” Ty just moaned and squirmed as Tony marked him. The slight pain made him flush hot and he moaned again when Tony wriggled himself lower again. “Fuck, Tony.”

Tony kissed his way down Ty’s chest, his hands following, caressing and squeezing his flesh, pinching his nipples. “Look at you. So smooth. So golden.”

Ty tried to raise up and kiss Tony, but Tony just laughed and one hand in the centre of his chest, pushed him back on the bed.

“Mine tonight,” he growled, suddenly ravenous, and dipping down again swirled his tongue around Ty’s navel, before nipping his skin.

Ty lay sprawled on the bed, weak and lightheaded. Tony’s fingers tracing the groves of his abs were driving him crazy. His tongue and teeth arousing and teasing him.

When Tony took him in his mouth, he cried out, his hips jerking off the bed. Tony pressed his hips down firmly and lapped at him.

“Tony, please,” Ty sobbed when he felt closed to exploding.

“Okay, here,” Tony gently guided Ty’s hand to his own cock, and Ty stroked slowly and gently as Tony concentrated on opening him up.

“It’s fine. I’m good,” Ty begged a few minutes later. He just couldn’t wait.

Tony frowned for a moment, but then relented. Nudging Ty’s knees wider he positioned himself and started to ease in.

He was back on top of Ty, who reached up and pulled him down for a kiss.

When Tony slipped deep, and Ty arched against him, sweat soaked skin slipping against each other, their urgency retreated and their movements became languid and almost lazy.

“I love you,” Tony whispered against Ty’s lips as he rocked himself deep.

“So much. Love you so much,” Ty replied. Then went rigid and gasped as he came and flooded over his stomach.

Tony thrust until he released deep inside Ty’s body. Then he lay. Most of his weight on Ty, as they gently kissed until their breathing calmed, and Tony softened inside Ty’s body, the sweat starting to cool on their bodies.

Tenderly adoring each other until Tony giggled and raised himself again, his nose wrinkling at his cum smeared skin. “Ewugh!”

Ty laughed, “Shower?”

“Hell, yea.”

-X

Tony had been a little down when he arrived at the theater on Tuesday. Having dropped Ty at his apartment to meet with his parents and travel down to Florida together.

Still Frank and Cal had pulled him through, and he knew Ty would have rested better in his grandma’s care than he would even at home.

But now it was Friday night, and although Ty’s flight was delayed so he probably wouldn’t get back before the show started, Tony was excited to see him.

And horny.

Of course!

He heard the five-minute buzzer and pushed everything but ‘Tim’ aside as he subtly re-lined his eyes.

Ty would be home and safe in his arms tonight. All the drama of the past couple of weeks behind them. Thank God.

-X

Ty was near the back of the quirky little candy store ‘Treats For You’ when he heard the first scream.

It was followed by a loud crash, and he ducked instinctively his brain thinking, ‘what the hell?’ even as he registered the yelling.

“Psstttt.”

Ty spun, his heart hammering at the sound behind him. Thankfully there had been more shouts and screams from the front of the store, so he remained undiscovered.

A small door was ajar and a little face was poking through. The face was very low down. A tiny hand came out and beckoned.

Ty, glancing behind him and keeping low, slipped through the door and pulled it closed. It appeared to lock automatically.

He crouched down to the little girl, no more than four years old, who was tugging at his jeans, her eyes wide. “They’ve got guns. Guns. Please can you help my Mom?”

She pointed and Ty’s heart lodged in his throat when he saw the girl’s Mom holding to the rail of a twisting staircase.

She was very, very pregnant.

Fuck!

Ty wasted no time. “We have to hide,” he said, rushing over to the stairs. “Can you go up?”

She nodded, “I’ll try. I was feeling a little dizzy and Kelly spotted the door open, so we sneaked through so I could sit for a second.” She actually smiled a little as Ty’s colour drained and patted his hand, “It’s just a spell. Like a hot flush. I could use a hand though.”

More screaming prompted action.

“Okay. Kelly right?” He tried a reassuring grin, “I’m Ty. I think we need to go up. You run in front of us. If anyone comes through this door, you keep running up, okay?”

“We have to shelter in place,” Kelly told him breathlessly, as she ran past and part way up the first flight.

“That’s right, honey,” her Mom agreed. “But we can’t shelter until we find our safe place.” She gripped Ty’s arm as he slipped strong arms around her waist and got her moving. “I’m Maria. This staircase goes straight to the roof.”

“How do you know?” he whispered.

Maria let out a quiet half laugh. “Let’s just say I’ve been getting through a lot of candy this trimester. Spending a lot of time in the store. The staff aren’t allowed to smoke outside anymore, so they use these back stairs to the roof.”

“It’s gotta be six stories, that’s dedication.”

“Good job the store is in this sweet old building. Ahhhh,” Maria broke off and swayed.

Ty held her pressed against him, her back to the railing. More than a little disconcerted as her belly kicked his arm.

“Mommy?”

“Keep going up, Kelly,” Ty told her quietly. “Your Mom’s just taking a quick breather.”

“I’m okay,” Maria told her. Grateful when Ty gripped her harder and practically carried her up. “Ty, careful. I’m heavy.”

“Don’t worry I’m stronger than I look,” he told her. “I’d put you over my shoulder if I wasn’t worried it might pop the baby out.”

A couple of blows against the door below and Maria didn’t argue any further. She let Ty take most of her weight, pulling on the banister to help him as much as she could.

Thankfully no one came through the door and at the last bend Maria was able to take her weight better. “It’s passing. I’m feeling better now.”

Ty pulled her to the top and looked around. The staircase ended in a door. Nowhere to hide.

He eased the door open and peered through. The roof was empty apart from a small hut and a couple of chairs underneath the water tower.

He crept out and checked around quickly.

“You’re right. It’s just the roof, no way off that I can see. I think wait in that shed for help is the best plan.”

An hour and a half later and the three of them were still hunkered down at the back of the drafty shed.

Ty had learned much from Kelly’s enthusiastic whispers. Including her excitement over her soon to be born baby brother, her desperate need for a pony, how much she and her best friend at school hated Mrs Jackson because she smelled funny, that her dad worked with someone called Chuff Chuff, it was fine that her Mom was dozing because that was normal with the pregnancy, Ty was very pretty, and she loved ballet more than anything.

Her excitement when Ty told her he danced was boundless. Ty grinned so hard that his cheeks ached at the expression on her face. She literally bounced in silent joy.

Ty’s grin faded when the heard the roof door crash open and running footsteps. He held his finger to his lips as a signal for Kelly and Maria to stay quiet and hidden.

The footsteps were getting closer, and heading straight for the little hut. The noise of the city, sirens and planes overhead seemed to drown out the shouts, so Ty was unclear about whether they were being hailed, or if the unknown people were yelling at each other.

The one thing he was clear on, was that this little girl and her unborn baby brother were not getting hurt. Not today.

He slipped silently to the door and waited, heart racing, praying that they would leave.

Suddenly the door flew open and a light blinded Ty, but the shadow behind it was large, and the gun unmistakable.

Ty punched out hard, but not fast enough. His wrist was twisted in a vice-like grip that made him yell, and he was propelled through the door. His knees and chest smashing into the floor and knocking the breath out of him.

His one thought in that spilt second that seemed to last half his lifetime was, ‘I’m sorry, Tony’.

“Stay down. Hands behind your head. Link. Your. Hands. Behind. Your. Head.” Overlapping voices were shouting at him.

Ty felt a wave of weakening relief as he struggled to follow the instructions and his hands were yanked down and cuffed. Cops. They were cops.

But then the relief turned to cold dread as he felt their attention move and the guns came up to point back into the dark doorway of the roof top hut.

“Don’t shoot. Don’t shoot,” his voice was lost in breathless fear as he heard Kelly shouting.

“Leave him alone. Let him go,” Kelly ran out like a fury. Launching herself at the man who had cuffed Ty and pulling at him.

“Fuck, don’t shoot. Please she’s just a kid,” he screamed it in his panic.

“Let him go.”

“Don’t shoot her. Please.”

“STAND DOWN. LOWER WEAPONS.” The voice roared across all of them, then quieter. “Kelly? Kelly Vega, is that you, honey?”

Ty felt Kelly’s little body land on his back. Jesus, she was trying to shield him. “Let him GO. You’re mean. I hate you.”

“Back off, guys. Hey Kelly. It’s me TJ. You remember me dontcha?”

Ty felt Kelly sit up, still straddling him. “Kelly, it’s okay. They’re cops,” he told her. Careful not to move too much in case someone panicked.

The men had moved back a little, but he saw one kneel next to him after passing his gun to a colleague, giving Ty a frown but then smiling at Kelly. “Hey, Kelly. You remember me. Who is this?”

“He’s my friend. He helped us. You have to let him go.”

“Sure, Kelly. You come over here and we’ll let him go.” He lifted her from Ty and pulled her onto his lap, “Kelly, where’s your Mom?”

“She’s hiding in there. Ty said we had to hide.”

“Maria?” the man called. “It’s TJ O’Malley. You okay in there?”

Maria emerged, pale but smiling. “Jesus, TJ it’s good to see you.”

Ty grunted as he was pulled to his knees, but the cuffs were removed and an officer appeared in front of him, hand held out to help him up.

“Thanks,” he grabbed the hand wincing as he was hauled to his feet.

“Any friend of Kelly,” the man said, looking him up and down. “Are you okay?”

“Sure, battered ribs, could be worse.”

“Do you need a medic?” the guy asked seriously. “I put you down pretty hard.”

Ty shook his head, “I’ve just got a couple of bruises. I’m fine.”

“Did he hurt you, Ty?” Kelly tapped at his hip, glaring at the man who was trying not to laugh at her cross expression.

“I’m fine,” he hauled her up to his waist. “You know some of these guys, huh?”

“They work with Daddy.”

“Does Michael know you’re here, Maria?” TJ asked.

“No, no we switched our phones off so they didn’t give our position away with an alert. Is it over?”

“Yea, couple of kids who didn’t want to wait for their allowance. Fu — er just stupid.”

Ty’s mouth literally fell open.

Kelly was apparently less shocked. “Did you shoot them?” she demanded from where she was still sat on his hip.”

“Thankfully, no,” HJ patted her cheek.

“Um, Officer?” Ty started.

“HJ’s fine.”

“Oh, okay, I’m Ty. Maria was unwell earlier. I think she needs to be checked over.”

“I’m fine.”

HJ just turned and frowned at her.

“It was a flush,” Maria insisted.

“You sure?”

“Positive.” She smoothed a hand over Kelly’s hair and then rubbed Ty’s shoulder. “I’m fine, just a little weary.”

“She’s fine,” HJ confirmed. “My wife’s gone through this five times. The dreaded flush!” He paused when another officer came over and confirmed the building was clear. “Excellent. Let’s get you two ladies home.”

The officer who had cuffed Ty came back over grinning. “I’ll get them home, HJ. But first. Kelly, there’s someone here to see you.”

Kelly looked around with wide eyes, as did Ty, but no one seemed to be paying Kelly any particular attention. Then a helicopter suddenly appeared over the edge of the building in front of them. Blinding lights and the whipping downdraft of the rotors.

“Jesus!” Ty exclaimed, even as Kelly bounced on his hip, clapping her hands and yelling, “Chuff Chuff. Hi,” before waving enthusiastically at the chopper.

Ty looked into Maria’s amused face. “Chuff Chuff’s a helicopter?” he yelled.

“My husband’s a pilot. He and Chuff Chuff are a team,” she grinned at Ty’s delighted laugh.

“You want to say hello?” the officer shouted at Kelly over the noise.

She nodded and leaned towards his radio. “Hi Daddy. Hi Chuff Chuff. ” Ty was impressed she knew how to use it properly.

The crackly voice came back from the device, “Hey baby. Are my ladies okay? You both okay?”

“We’re good, Daddy. Me and Mommy and Ty we’re good. But Mommy’s tired. We are going home now, Daddy.”

Ty cracked up and couldn’t resist pressing a kiss to her hair. Jesus, the kid chattered even over police radio. He hoped they were on a separate channel or there were probably cops all over the city choking on their coffee.

The voice that came back was also clearly amused. “Okay kiddo, I’ll be home in a couple of hours. Can me and Chuff Chuff have a goodnight kiss?”

Kelly bounced again and with both hands sent a big kiss towards her dad. Ty laughed out loud when the nose of the chopper suddenly bounced down and sideways before straightening up again.

“Whoa, you hit Chuff Chuff good with that one. I’ve gotta get him his supper and put him to bed. I’ll see you soon, bye sweetheart.”

Kelly laughed and waved with her Mom as the chopper dipped it’s nose again and flew away. Ty’s ears were ringing. Although he wasn’t sure if that was from the rotor noise or Kelly.

Back at street level, after swapping details with Maria and giving a quick statement, Ty waved the girls off in the patrol car and turned to find HJ, minus his intimidating weaponry and ballistic vest, waiting for him.

“I heard you giving your statement to Carrie. I’ll walk you over to the theater. That’s where you’re headed right?”

Ty nodded, “Yea, thanks but it’s only a few blocks.”

“Hmmm,” HJ agreed. “But look at the trouble you got in to just popping in for a chocolate bar.”

Ty’s laugh was overly hysterical and HJ grin-frowned at him, “You okay?”

“Sorry,” Ty brought it down a notch. “I’ve had an interesting couple of weeks.” He suddenly stopped. “Shit, I forgot to pay for the candy.”

HJ glowered, “You have the right to remain silent-”

Ty cracked up again, slipping the bag back into his pocket, “I’ll call in tomorrow. God, are those kids stupid or what?”

“Guns were loaded, so they’ve fucked up their future’s real good. Only thirteen.”

“WHAT!”

“I know,” HJ shook his head sadly.

They walked another half block and the theater came into view.

“So do you work here?” HJ asked.

“No, my boyfriend is in the show. I’ve just got back from a few nights in Florida, visiting my grandparents. Called in to ‘Treats For You’ to get Tony’s favourite candy as a surprise.”

“Some surprise, huh?”

“Tell me!” Ty snorted. “I work a few blocks away. A bar called ‘Engagement’. It’s kinda specialized.”

“Get out. Engagement? My old partner owns that place.”

Ty stopped again. “What Cal? Cal was a cop?”

“No Frank Delaney.”

“Frank!”

HJ laughed and clapped Ty’s shoulder, moving him the short distance to the stage door. “You tell him HJ says Hi, and he owes me a call.”

Ty was amazed, “I just can’t imagine Frank in uniform. And with a gun.”

“I didn’t say he was a good cop,” HJ joked. “Ask him.”

Ty was still bemused as he entered Tony’s room.

Tony had called him on Wednesday to say he had been moved back into his dressing room. Only the whole cast and crew had cleaned it out and moved his stuff back in, surprising him with a ‘move Tony back into his room’ party.

They had provided cake and flowers and Ty grinned as he looked at the sign leaning against the mirror. It said ‘CCTV. You are being filmed’.

How wonderful that they had made Tony laugh over what had been a creepy and scary experience.

Ty leaned back against the door feeling too tired to make it to the chair. He hoped Tony didn’t expect a private dressing room and ensuite bathroom in every show he did. Because that was very unlikely.

There was a faint fresh sweat smell from Tony’s damp costumes, which would be cleaned overnight, overlayed by the citrusy scent of his shower gel.

Even as Ty took another deep breath, Tony came out of the bathroom. A towel wrapped around his waist, his hair dripping, and headed straight for his phone. Jerking slightly and changing direction when he saw Ty leaning against the door.

“Oh hey. I was just going to check for a text.”

“Sorry, I got held up,” Ty said.

Tony moved closer. “Speaking of. You wouldn’t have heard yet. ‘Treats For You’ got robbed tonight.” His eyes widened as Ty just pulled the bag of his favourite candy from his pocket and held it up, “You were there?”

Before he could panic, Ty pulled him closer. Effectively trapping himself against the door. “I was hiding on the roof with two pretty ladies, and don’t get upset,” he kissed Tony softly. “No one was hurt, so there’s no need to get upset,” he kissed Tony again.

“But.”

“Did you know Frank used to be a cop?”

“But. WHAT?”

Ty laughed, pleased with himself. “That distracted you!”

With a sudden burst of energy, Ty spun Tony around and backed him against the door. Encouraging the towel to fall to the floor.

“Ah, shit. I missed you,” he muttered and started to lick and kiss down Tony’s neck and chest.

“Wait, wait,” Tony whispered, trying to reach over to flip the lock on the door. Ty took the opportunity to run his tongue up Tony’s ribs and into his armpit, making him shout with laughter.

“Shit! Crap. Don’t DO that.”

Ty chuckled and dropped to his knees. Taking Tony’s half hard cock into his mouth and sucking hard. Enjoying the feeling of his mouth being quickly filled with throbbing heat.

“Ahhhh. Urgh,” was all Tony could manage as he was brutally aroused.

Ty held Tony’s hips as his thighs started to tremble, and continued the suck-fest. Forcing Tony to orgasm in less than a minute.

“FUCK. Oww,” Tony howled. Then folded in on himself and down. Ty gathered Tony’s shower damp body into his lap and held him close as he shook and half sobbed.

After a few minutes, Tony started to cool and Ty rubbed his chin on his hair one last time before standing and reaching to pull Tony up.

“Bit wobbly?” he smirked.

“Jesus, that was fast.”

Ty helped Tony dress, he was shaking that much, his lips pulled into a smug grin. Tony noticed and narrowed his eyes. “Just wait until I get my breath back,” he warned.

“Promises. Promises,” Ty helped Tony into his jacket, before they wandered out, and back towards Engagement. Cal and Frank had insisted they stay in their deluxe apartment above the club until Sunday.

Ty told Tony about the robbery, and his trip, and then back to the idea of Frank having been a cop.

“We’ll ask him over breakfast,” Tony said. But as they approached the door, it opened and there Frank stood. Skin tight, black sequinned dress, displaying his very shapely legs, and the dark red wig that reached his waist.

The expression on his face was ‘hard ass’, but as they reached the door, Frank just pulled Ty into his arms and held him tight. “Can you ever not get into trouble?”

Ty laughed and smoothed the wig, careful not to dislodge it, “I’m okay, Frank.”

“How’d you know?” Tony asked.

“HJ called me.”

Ty stood back and let Frank shut the door. He was letting his eyes roam up and down when Frank turned and raised an eyebrow. “I look hot tonight, right?”

“I’m trying to image you pulling a gun, yelling ‘Freeze, sucker’!”

Frank just smiled, “I filled out that uniform real good,” he claimed. “But the gun thing was a problem.”

“Why?” Tony asked, absently mindedly dipping into the candy bag he had liberated from Ty’s jacket pocket.

“I hate guns.”

“Why did you leave?” Ty asked, reaching for a candy, then “Oww!” When Tony slapped his hand.

“Mine.”

“Hey, I nearly died to get those.”

“You told me you were hiding out with two gorgeous ladies. Doesn’t sound very dangerous.”

Frank was watching them lip curled with amusement. It turned to a laugh when Tony offered him a candy. “Don’t mind if I do,” he laughed again when Ty growled. “Mainly because I hate guns and I wasn’t very good at it. Also my drag act was taking off and I no longer needed the security of the job.”

Tony popped another candy into his mouth and then relented and passed the bag to Tony. “Still hard to imagine,” he admitted.

Frank just smiled. “Well, now I’ve seen you’re okay I had better get back downstairs. I’ll see you boys in the morning.”

“Night Frank.”

“Yea, goodnight,” Ty mumbled around a mouthful.

The door clicked closed and Tony reached out hooking a hand in the waistband of Ty’s jeans.

“With me. Now.”

“Ohhhh, am I in trouble?”

Tony dragged Ty into Frank and Cal’s guest room and shoved the door closed.

“Get naked,” he instructed, as he shrugged off his own jacket and yanked his shirt over his head.

Ty’s dark eyes clouded with arousal as he quickly stripped and then smiled, “How do you want me?”

Tony shoved his jeans aside and pointed at the bed. “On there,” he said, and strode into the bathroom.

Ty sprawled across the bed, eyes tracking Tony as he came back in, lube and towels in hand.

Tony smiled and knee walked onto the bed, leaning over and kissing Ty until he moaned.

“Missed you,” he muttered.

“Me too. Missed you so much.”

“Let me play, okay?” Tony asked.

“I’m all yours.”

Ty lay back, his hands relaxed on the bed covers, as Tony started to stroke and kiss his skin.

He let out a sigh as Tony’s lips ghosted over his chest and abs.

A low moan and slight shift, as Tony licked a hot, wet line up his torso.

His hands fisted as Tony sucked hard on one nipple, then the other, and he jerked at the nip.

“Shit.”

Tony smirked against Ty’s dampening skin as he curled his hand around his bouncing cock and gave him a couple of strokes, even as he rubbed his day old beard over Ty’s flat stomach.

“Okay, okay,” Ty whispered to himself. His eyes fluttering closed.

Tony bent his head and started to lick and mouth at Ty’s cock, until his eyes were squeezed shut and he was writhing on the bed and pleading, “Please, Tony. Please.”

Quickly pulling back to open the lube, Tony was soon three fingers up to his knuckles, sucking persistently, pre-cum coating his tongue as Ty sobbed.

“Ready, Babe?” Tony asked.

“So ready.”

Tony lined himself up and gripping Ty’s calves, bent him nearly in two as he sank deep in one hard thrust.

“Urrgggghh. God!”

Tony bit Ty’s left nipple, “Wanna fuck you hard,” he admitted.

Ty’s eyes opened, just enough that he could see to grasp his own legs. Then Tony braced his arms either side and started to fuck hard. Forcefully ploughing and stretching him. Ty’s stomach muscles jumping and quivering with every hard thrust.

“Please. God. Yes,” he panted as Tony repeatedly pulled almost out, then slammed back in.

When Ty could no longer hold himself in position, his legs fell open, his arms to the side, and Tony slowed the pace a little. Jamming his knees behind Ty’s thighs and allowing his body to fall chest to chest as he one, two, three, came deep inside Ty’s body.

Ty let out a croaking gasp and Tony felt warmth flood their stomachs.

He winced as he pulled out and fell to the side. Deciding the towels and clean up could wait a few minutes as Ty pulled him close.

Their legs tangling as Ty kissed his face before pressing his lips gently to Tony’s.

“Welcome home,” Tony said, before his lips were taken again.
