Lalita Sophaditsakul, the wife of former deputy commander in chief of the army looked at her youngest son. His son’s age was far from her other children. She saw that he looked tired physically and mentally.

The word “Tian”was the lucky name that implies the meaning of intellectual man. Although, the situation of this teenager boy who was in his twenties looked like an expensive item that has been wasted. His hair that reaches his neck that was colored in dark red. You can saw his face that has relaxed and sweet expression plus, his smooth white skin that was inherited from his mother.

Yes, it was white. As in pale that looked like a sick person.

“Why haven’t you sleep yet?” That hoarse voice was caused by the alcohol that he drunk at the bar.

“Because I’m waiting for you. Why you’re so late, honey?” The mother is now in her fifty, but still looked elegant when she wore a long sleepwear. She sat up and approached her little son looked worried as she saw her son increasingly sick day by day that made her heart anxious.

He was not joking about that because he spoke the truth. His life covered with perfect outer shell that everyone admires, but it was just a lie. But, there was a big black hole in his inside.

After all, what did he got in return?

Tian clenched his fist, he felt uncomfortable. His chest ached like a dozen of stones struck him. The young man took a deep breath to relieve the pain that was getting more and more every day.

Lalita’s red eyes followed the boy’s back. From an energetic and cheerful child, he became like this since two years ago. Since when he knew about his condition, Tian started to be more frivolous and insensitive to everything in this world.

“Why do you have to hurt yourself like that, Tian?” Khun Lalita said as he grabbed his son’s wrist.

Tian immediately turned around and his face was turned pale, added a scowled tone in his answered, ” So, what do you want me to do? Keep smiling to face that? I am not a fool and I knew that I will die soon!”

“Who says this illness of yours will bring death? We will cure you, dear. Believe in mother.” Her soft voice trembled slightly. She knew that she was lying. His hand was stiff and tightly held on to his mother’s arms. He had to work so hard to resist the pain that he couldn’t cry out for help so loud.

Mr. Theerayut did not wait long, he immediately dialed an ambulance and it was arrived quickly. Lalita had to move to support the Tian because his slender body suddenly collapsed making his mother’s heart almost broken.

He slowly closed his eyes, even though his face still showed an unpleasant expression from the intense torture earlier. The long and tight hand gripped to the left of his uniform’s chest and the last sentence heard from him was a whisper near her ear.
